Life is Still Insane.

Yeah. I want to post pictures from Europe. But they are on my computer at home and I am at

BYU

That's right. Rise and shout, the cougars are out.
So I moved in Saturday. It's weird living on my own, going to college wards (they are way too quiet), going to FHE where everyone is a returned missionary. Ah. I'm lucky though. Three of my best friends will be living close shortly. Rachel Wade my childhood bestie lives a building away. We are in the same ward. It's weird. It's like this was meant to happen since childhood. Brittany Carroll lives like five blocks away. I've seen her quite a bit too. And Melissa Willard is coming up soon. It is sure to be a big party. My roommate Corinne and I have decided to have a salsa and skittle party on Thursday. That should be interesting. I'll be sure and document the occasion. I have my own kitchen, but I have yet to cook anything in it. I'm still a bit awkward around all my neighbors but I hope I can make some friends....

Not going to lie, I'm really homesick. I love it here but every night I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach and sometimes I may even cry a little. When my parents left it was awful. I cried for awhile. But I'm here now and hopefully I get more and more used to it. It's weird going to school during the summer. I went to my first class yesterday. Geography 120. That should be interesting... I enjoyed it.

SHIFT week was last week in Denver. I did not want to go, but it turned out to be a really good experience. I met a lot of new people, and probably explained the entire LDS religion to people ten times. It was really cool how much I actually knew. I was also on PBS which was legit. AAAAAAANNNNNDDDDDDDDD
I GOT MY MAC BOOK PRO.
and printer.
Am I excited you may ask? Yes.

Well, I slept in today til twelve and no one is here to tell me to get out of bed. This is the life. Sort of.

All the best,
Alex

ok! This is my third try! Alex I need you here. I hate the computer!! Thanks for taking a pic of you on the first day! It made me sad I wasn't there to see you. You looked so cute and random. That's my "gril". Is that Rach and Corinne? Im glad you "little walkie talkie buds" can live by each other. Corinne looks fun. I can't wait to meet her. Tell Courtney hello. I cried at every picture especially first day and the one I took of you and Dad. I cried when I saw it in real person. Glad I was carring the camera. If it makes you feel anybetter I cried the entire first day we dropped you off. Life feels different to us here. We also have the pit in our stomach. But it is good and exciting for you. We love and miss you. Can't wait to see you. (this better work this time)
love Mom
