i owe you one
For me, third grade was the best year in elementary school. I was the fastest girl in the school, (my how times have changed) I dressed like a boy, I learned cursive, long division, and had a cute boyfriend named Connor. I remember always thinking that my teacher, Mrs. Clark, was an old hag. She used to make us memorize poems that made absolutely no sense to my eight-year-old incompetent mind. Little did I know, that as a Freshman in college I would still have those poems memorized and am now putting them to use. She is a smart woman. Mrs. Clark, I owe you one.Stick to your task till it sticks to you.
Beginners are many, but enders are few.
Honor, power, place and praise
Will always come to the one who stays.
Stick to your task till it sticks to you;
Bend at it, sweat at it, smile at it, too—
For out of the bend and the sweat and the smile
Will come life’s victories after awhile.
(one of my very favorites)
My Monday kind of sucked. I woke up thinking it was Wednesday. I hope yours went a little better
All my love,
Alex
