one year older and wiser too!
Happy birthday to the one and only Brittany Lynn Carroll.
Let me update you on our friendship. We met in the seventh grade, when both of us were in our awkward stages of life. She lived in my grandma's neighborhood, and we would hang out at church. One day while I was staying with my grandma she invited me to go babysit this family with her, and we bonded over dishes, corn bread, and a baby. After that we were MSN friends. Boy, those were the days. She gave me advice about my middle school boyfriends, and we would pretty much just chat it up all day errryday. THEN the last week of Sophomore year, my parents informed my brother and I that we were moving to the good ol' town of Cedar City, Utah. They said they were taking us out of school for a day to tour both the High Schools in Cedar, so we could decide which one we wanted to go to. (Although they were pulling for Cedar High, because they both graduated from there). We went to Canyon View first and it was really nice. We really considered going there because we had cousinst there, so we would have instant friends. But alas we looked at CHS as well. As I was in the chemistry lab, talking with the teacher about is AP course, the one and only Brittany Carroll yelled my name from the end of the hall. She had recognized the back of my head. It was a sign from God, and we have been the best of friends ever since.
Brittany is the most loyal and giving person that I know. She met a random girl yesterday who needed a ride to the airport. She woke up at three this morning—on her birthday—to give a random girl a ride to Salt Lake. Who does that? B does, and that's why I love her.
Happy Birthday Bellatrix, Little Foot, Slurp, and B. I hope you have a great day, and I can't wait for us to ball it up at Winger's tonight!
All my love,
Alex.
