i love nature

Ok so sometimes my friends tend to make fun of my non-outdoorsish tendencies. I have been really trying to make an effort to be better though. Truly. So on this lovely Labor Day weekend of ours, my roommate decided that we were going to have fun. Coincidentally her older brother Braden invited us to go camping with he and his friends. (He's nice, we know.) I was pretty hesitant at first, (shocker) but I went. We ended up just building a camp fire and then sleeping on a tarp under the stars. Simple, yet awesome.

Some cool and not so cool things about Labor Day weekend:

-I only brought a blanket and a pillow which was a bad idea, but some very kind gentlemen spared their blankets for me.
- I literally don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my entire life. It was so random, but so entertaining.
-We found a random shack that some people built. They left a treasure chest inside with a notebook for us to record our names and a note. We left one of the kids numbers to see who would call. That should be interesting.
-We also found a protective wrapper if you know what I mean in above mentioned shack. Gag.
-Slug wars. We all tried to pretend to be asleep, but then all the sudden people just started attacking each other with sleeping bags and then a massive pillow fight broke out. It was nuts.
-S'mores. Always a crowd pleaser.
-I ended up being so cold, that in the middle of the night I climbed into Rachel's sleeping bag and we spooned all night. She's my roommate so I can do those types of things and it's totally normal.
-I didn't pee for 12 hours either, because I have this huge fear of going to the bathroom in nature. Something about that just isn't right.
-Pretty sure today I feel asleep during Zoolander. That just proves to you that I was so sleep deprived that I zonked out during the greatest movie of all time.
-Also, the roomies and I all went to Macoroni Grill for dinner and only spent $5. Haters gonna hate.
