a quick update on things i love

Motivating myself to blog is like motivating myself to work out. It's always on my mind but rarely happens.

I have a feeling that this post is going to be a long one. Stick with me people. I know you can do it.

Things I am thankful for in November 2011:

1. My hott babes. From nerd dances, to sing alongs, to Sundays, ice, meals, and more, these girls know how to put a smile on my face.

(Ash and I on a Sonic run.)
(People say we look like sisters. . . )
(Birthday kisses for Isaac's 16th!)
(Nerd dance yo. White and nerdy)
(FHE and strugglin Rach)
(BRYNLEY MARIE!!!)
(Hayls and I at the SLC temple)
(A cute not from Ash to brighten my day)
(Another sweet note from my roommate. She's amazing)

2. My school/the library. What's new? But hey, I love that place. Also, President Monson came to speak to us the other day. We went early and sat on the ninth row. Such a neat experience. BYU is amazing.
(Rachel, Hayley, Skyler, Ashley, me, and Logan at devotional)
(A picture I took of Rachel in our secret spot in the library)

(Another one of us "studying" in our secret spot)

(self portrait. Always attractive)
(Studying in the H to the B to the double L. They love me)

3. Good movies. There is nothing I like better than curling up on the couch with a blanket and keeping warm while watching a movie. Love.

(Random I know, but this is the guy from the new Footloose. Kenny Wormald. Oh baby oh baby)

4. Naps. I've been a stuffy head cold sick girl the past week. I seriously slept in til ten today and had a four hour nap on Sunday. I'm pretty sure if napping was a class, I would have an A.

(these are my sick eyes and stuffy nose. If you heard me speak right now I would sound like a dying seal)
(I fall asleep all the time. Logan snuck this picture of me when I feel asleep on his couch while he was just changing clothes. Time to start going to bed earlier.)

5. Fall. The leaves this time of year make me want to skip all the way to class. It makes me forget about the cold weather, and remember how thankful I am for Autumn.

(Hayley and I stopped to take pictures on the way home from class. Yes we got some weird looks.)

6. Groceries. Last week my car was in repair so I didn't get to the grocery store for over a week. I literally was down to moldy bread and some rice packets with some cheese. I spent more money than I have since being on college on groceries yesterday, but there is just something about good food that makes me so happy. It makes my stomach happy too if you know what I mean.

(Christmas already? Smiths had my favorite chocolate oranges on sale yesterday. I almost peed my pants with excitement!)

7. Missionaries. I got the funniest letter in the mail today from the one and only Elder Foley. He is one of a kind and telling me how much he is hating the MTC. I don't know how he will survive two years without female attention. On the other hand, Elder Grover came home! He is now officially an awkward RM. He called me today and I skyped him on Wednesday. He is the first of my best friends to come home and it couldn't be more weird. I get to see him in person tomorrow. I am so so so excited.

(He had my address wrong, so this letter took about a month to get to us. Worth the wait!)

(Trent and Andie. Love them both to death.)

8. Funny texts. Sometimes I resent technology and how antisocial it has made my generation. But every once and awhile I will get some good texts that just make me laugh. Or I get sweet ones. Like today my mom texted me something to the effect of, "remember, you need to be treated like a princess." She worries about me a lot. It's cute.

(This isn't my mom, but this is something she would say)

9. Football. I have only got to see a few of little brother's games but it sure has brought back some good memories and made me so proud of him. He was KSL's play of the week last week. Go Kolie!

(He got a suit while up at here for his game. Lookin' so handsome)

10. WWSW. I've been thinking a lot lately about personal style and how I really feel the urge to blog about fashion or not. Regardless of what I blog about, in my everyday life I have been trying to be less concerned about what people think about what I am wearing, and wear what I like. This quest about finding my personal style was inspired by Sydney at the Daybook. I seriously wake up in the morning and think to myself, what would Sydney wear? You can be inspired too by clicking here.

(I was going to take pictures of this outfit today, but then I forgot.)

(This picture has nothing to do with it, but I liked it.)

I love how out of all 14 pictures of the "Hot Babes" I didn't even make it into one... I guess this means you hate me now? Cool. My life sucks.
