Day 1: The Big Apple

So for a while now I've been contemplating how I am going to post all my pictures from Europe.
You see, there are 2,000 of them.
Most of the pictures have a story behind them as well.
So.
I'm going to do it a day at a time.
A little here, a little there.
Be excited here. I mean, these are from the best two weeks of my life.

Day 1:
So... I left for Salt Lake right after graduation. I literally went to Grad Night, left at 3:30. Packed 'til five, and was ready to go at seven am.

This is little Kolie and my daddy wakin' up to bid me farewell.

So Penny told me I could only bring two backpacks. Two. This is all I brought for 13 days abroad. If you know me at all, you will know that this is definitely a miracle. Never once did I regret bringing so little. It was so nice especially when we didn't stay in one place for very long. Anyway... Back on track.

So,

Our little delay in NYC. Yeah how sad for us, right? We took the red-eye from SLC to JFK. We spent the day in the big apple and then headed to Nice, France that night.

The best story of New York is about Jazzy Mae:
We were lost. If you've ever been to JFK its like... huge. So we found this lady and she told us she could take us to the taxi's. She looked pretty legit so we just followed her. Hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa
Yeah. So then she takes us to this.

Yep. She had her own limousine service. I didn't even know that was legal. Actually I'm still not so sure if it is or not. I for one thought the whole thing was like super sketchy... But Penny just went a long with it. I was kind of freaking out though. She took us on a tour of New York pretty much. It cost $50. The entire ride I kept coming up with scenarios in my head of how she could kidnap us and then murder us and no one would know. I'm being serious right now. I thought we were goners for sure. But, I was wrong.

We arrived at our destination, and spent a beautiful day in New York.
(Please ignore my greasy hair and no make up. It was a long night)
