Happy 4th

So today I went to a funeral.

My dad's uncle, and he happened to serve in the Korean war. Therefore, his funeral was a military service. It seemed pretty fitting for the fourth of July weekend eh? Not going to lie. I got pretty teary eyed. I love this country, and I don't care how cheesy it sounds. . . I'm proud to be an American. :)

"I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives.  I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him."  -Abraham Lincoln

Also, It's really good to be home. I've already had so much fun. It's weird living out of a suitcase in my own bedroom. I need to stop putting off homework, but I just missed everyone too much. I never want this weekend to end. Sometimes I wish I could just pause my life.
